On Monday (June 13) Ferrero announced a major new expansion to their Bloomington plant adding 169,000 square, thus investing $214.4 million in the plant. Construction of the new expansion will begin this fall and be on of the largest production lines for Ferrero outside of Europe. Ferrero says the new expansion will create up to 200 new jobs over a four-year period. 

The new area in the plant will manufacture Kinder Bueno bars and minis, the first time Kinder products will be made in North America.
