View descriptionShare

Lizzie Eastham and Sam Rickard present Studio 1 - Vision Australia Radio’s weekly look through a different lens.

On this week’s show

“Coming Out”

When do you admit you have a disability, if at all?

Whether it be applying for a job, meeting new people or dealing with someone behind a counter.  Sometimes we need to admit there is a reason we’re looking at something closer or not at all.

Simon talks about disclosing you have a Disability when applying for work; Stephen K looks at the times when tripping over something forces the point; Emma gives us a more relaxed view on Disability; Lilli talks about the need to pick your person; Stevie E talks about the complexities of admitting you have Autism; while Heidi and Sarnya talk about how these issues lesson when you get older; while Shaun finishes things off with a dose or reality.

You may also be interested in joining our choir of angels and telling your story.

Next week: Don’t you just love it when you have to prove you’re not a Robot?

From Capture Bot Protection to Text in images, we’re talking about those things on the Net that make us want to throw our devices out a window.
