Japan is known for many things, historical sites, beautiful nature, captivating culture; all of which belie something disturbing just beneath the surface. Around train stations in Japan, there are signs warning of "Chikan" or gropers, backed up by harrowing stories of abuse and sexual harrassment. The phenomenon has become so widespread that train companies have instituted women-only cabins for the safety of female passengers, but many wonder if this alone will be enough.
