On the 27th of November 1987, South African Airways flight 295 took off from Taipei for Johannesburg, South Africa. But what was supposed to be a routine flight soon turned for the worst. Sometime during the flight, smoke started to emerge from behind the passenger cabin, eventually resulting in a raging fire that while the plane was still in the air.
