In 1980, 19 year old Robert Shafran had just started college in New York when he came across a rather unusual predicament. While he was on campus, he was repeatedly mistaken for another student by the name of Eddy Galland. And when they eventually met, the resemblance was eerily uncanny; both had identical features, had the same birthday, shared the same quirks, and were even adopted children. The meeting was so peculiar that it was even publicized on local newspapers and television, which is where things took another strange turn. David Kellman came across the story in the papers, and recognized his own faces.
