Whether the Sixers lose this series or not, all signs point to Simmons getting shipped out of town this offseason. Doc Rivers’ shortcomings as a coach became even more jarring when you consider that his successor in Los Angeles, Ty Lue, was able to push all the right buttons for the Kawhi Leonard-less Clippers in the nightcap. It also helped that ‘Playoff P’ Paul George showed up and showed out in a big way to put the Utah Jazz on the brink of elimination. These NBA Playoffs have been so unpredictable night-to-night that you can make a legitimate argument for each of the seven remaining teams to win the title.
