The automaker has begun using the name “Tesla Assisted Driving” on its European websites, while the US version of the site continues to use “Full Self-Driving (Supervised)” Tesla’s driver-assistance branding has been a point of contention with regulators, safety advocates and some customers, who say the name gives the impression of full autonomy.
-Apple (APPL) shares drop after a report that the company cut component orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max following weaker-than-expected demand.
-Netflix (NFLX) shares drop. Netflix is planning a major round of layoffs coming as soon as next week would cut about 5% of its headcount, according to a new report. The streaming giant plans a significant restructuring that “will impact” about 5% of staffers and “could be announced as early as next week,” according to a report by Puck News citing anonymous sources.
