- Qualcomm (QCOM) gave a quarterly sales forecast of $10.4 billion to $11.2 billion in the three months ending in December. Demand from manufacturers of vehicles and data center gear is helping make up for a slowdown in the smartphone market. Revenue from the phone market tumbled 26% last quarter to $5.14 billion, while revenue from the vehicle electronics market grew 89% to $2 billion. Shares of Qualcomm rose about 4% in extended trading following the announcement. They had been up 1.3% this year through the close.

- Arm Holdings (ARM) gave a revenue forecast for the current period that met analysts’ estimates, a sign its push into data center computing is helping offset a slump in the smartphone market. Sales will be about $1.54 billion in the fiscal third quarter, which runs through December, the company said in a statement Wednesday. The company expects its new central processing unit to generate up to $2 billion in revenue during fiscal 2027 and 2028, with Chief Executive Officer Rene Haas saying he’s more confident the company can achieve that revenue level.

- Expedia Group (EXPE) raised its 2026 outlook as travel demand remains robust, defying soaring airfares and global uncertainty. The online travel platform expects gross bookings to jump 10% in 2026 and increased its full-year targets for revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization margin. Chief Executive Officer Ariane Gorin said consumers continue to prioritize travel, with the US being a particularly bright spot and the higher end of the market performing strongly.
