- Novo Nordisk (NVO) shares are lower as it disappointed investors hoping for concrete turnaround plans from Chief Executive Officer Mike Doustdar after losing its lead in the obesity market to Eli Lilly & Co. The company pledged to launch more than five blockbusters and deliver more than $23 billion in new sales in coming years, but investors are selling shares due to lack of concrete news.
- Critical Metals (CRML) is soaring as President Trump said the he reached an agreement with Denmark over Greenland that would give the US “permanent control over security” of the Arctic island and that this deal addressed US concerns over the territory.
- Warner Bros (WBD) shares are higher as the settlement talks between Paramount Skydance and California officials over the planned acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery are said to include a financial penalty if the company fails to make good on a promise to distribute 30 films per year in theaters.
- Accenture (ACN) is up on news Anthropic is partnering with Accenture to test the safety of its advanced artificial intelligence models by embedding evaluators from the consulting firm directly within its operations.
