Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market, a look at the notable movers:
On this episode of Stock Movers:

- CoreWeave's (CRWV) bonds have plunged to levels that typically indicate distress, in a swift move that has caught the attention of Silicon Valley leaders including Chamath Palihapitiya and Elon Musk. At that price, the bonds yield more than 15% — a figure noted by Palihapitiya that led Musk to respond “yikes” on his social media platform.Shares of the company, which rents out access to leading AI chips, fell as much as 17% on Wednesday. Even though its bonds are trading at distressed levels, CoreWeave’s stock is up more than 60% since its initial public offering in March 2025 and its market value is more than $36.5 billion.

- Ukraine says SpaceX (SPCX) unilaterally restricted the operation of Starshield terminals while in motion on Oct.14 without prior notice to the Defence Forces, a person familiar with the matter says on condition of anonymity. This situation complicates UAV missions, particularly those involving interceptors and mid-range strike drones, and hampers capabilities regarding frontline logistics, reconnaissance, and signal relay, person familiar with the matter tells Bloomberg. SpaceX stock fell sharply as analysts wrestled with Starlink numbers, but the decline was due to CoreWeave.

- Lockheed Martin (LMT) shares are up as Vertical Research Partners raised the recommendation on the defense contractor to buy from hold, noting that while there is uncertainty about the outlook for the US defense budget, bipartisan support for missile spending remains.
