Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- Comcast (CMCSA) shares are back and forth this morning after Chief Financial Officer Jason Armstrong said he sees no improvement in broadband subscriber losses in the current quarter. Armstrong said rivals are offering broadband access for $30 to $40 a month for speeds of 1 gigabyte a second, which he said is not a rational price point.
- Apple (AAPL) shares are higher as it unveiled the iPhone Duo, the company's first foldable smartphone, which will improve on rivals' foldable models. The device will be available for preorder on Oct. 16 in more than 70 countries and regions, ahead of its release on Oct. 23, and will sit at the top of Apple's iPhone lineup.
- Meta (META) is higher as JPMorgan upgrades to overweight from neutral, citing upside potential after the social media giant launched its AI assistant.
