- Amazon.com (AMZN) shares are up 4.8% on Monday, after Morgan Stanley named the e-commerce and cloud-computing company a top pick, seeing a number of strong growth drivers. We continue to think AWS’s growth and profit runway is under-appreciated,” writes analyst Brian Nowak, referring to Amazon Web Services “We see AWS operating as ‘rule of 90’ company in 2027-2028, paving the way for AMZN to generate ~$16.50 of ‘28 EPS” Morgan Stanley also sees Amazon as a winner of agentic AI, writing that “we expect AMZN to leverage its leading e-commerce infrastructure and loyal user base to continue to monetize”

- Datadog (DDOG) shares rose more than 6% in Monday trading after Bernstein upgraded the stock to outperform. Analyst Peter Weed had been concerned about the pace of AI-related growth, but “clearly our imagination failed us — our alt data signals suggest enterprise token consumption appears to have grown at least 50% QoQ among the largest AI Labs (and perhaps even faster in their smaller ‘Born in AI’ customers)”

- Whirlpool (WHR) shares slump as much as 5.3%, hitting a March 2009 low intraday, after Longbow Research cut the recommendation on the home appliance maker to neutral from buy.
