Trained and working as an architect at a large Swedish architectural firm, Tekla Severin wanted something different after a while. Severin had a great predilection for color and could not really lose her passion at the agency where she worked. In Stijlcast she talks about her work as an architect, photographer and later colourist.
For this she designed a series of tiles called Färgblock for the Italian company Quintessenza. The tiles are 5 by 15 cm, in 13 different colors that you can combine endlessly. Severin describes herself as a serious woman who likes to be in control. But someone who likes to bring some playfulness into life.
