Detroit poet Brittany Rogers recently published a new collection of poetry titled Good Dress. The book is a a non-traditional coming-of-age story exploring Black womanhood. Rogers sat down with Stateside to talk about the influence of the women who raised her on her work and how audacity has become a guiding light for her in a chaotic world.
