Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray said Kevin Colbert is in Indianapolis as part of a “combine committee.” Ray said Joey Porter Jr. would be a strong candidate at 17th overall. Poni asked Ray about the other corners that will be there around Porter. Ray commented on the inside linebacker position and if there’s any possibility of that at 17, but wouldn’t be surprised with it at 32. Ray said as much as the Steelers love that position, it’s arguably the hardest on that side of the ball. Ray described Calijah Kancey as a freak, but isn’t sure if the Steelers have a real shot at him at 17 and isn’t sure how exactly he fits into the defensive front. Ray gave his thoughts on Jalen Carter and now that he has fallen to the Steelers in a mock draft.
