Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike isn’t ready yet to take the Steelers away from his AFC Championship Game prediction, but he did say he would’ve liked to show more life. Mike was more stunned that the offense just couldn’t get anything going against the 49ers. Mike said it is time to move on and one loss is one loss, no matter what the score is. Mike talked about how teams around the league have to deal with injuries and the Steelers unfortunately can’t afford to fret about Cam Heyward and Diontae Johnson for too long. Mike doesn’t think the Steelers have reached out to JJ Watt, but wouldn’t rule it out. Mike got into what the Jets plan could be without Aaron Rodgers for the rest of the year. Continuing with the Jets, Mike did mention that the Steelers are one of the only teams around the league that have not one, but two capable backup QBs.
