Pirates scribe John Perrotto from Pittsburgh Baseball Now joined the show. Chris asked John his thoughts on the Paul Skenes debut and what he makes of Skenes as a prospect. John talked about what the Pirates plan should be to build around some of the good young pitchers. John doesn’t like the lack of accountability within that building, especially when the team plays poorly. John said at some point you just have to play your best players. John left us on a positive note about Oneil Cruz, who has been raking over the last couple weeks.
