On the last episode, we saw the doctor Sticky Breath and the Purple Ninjas are trying to work on some kind of d frictionizer laser and and they're headed straight Braves birthday party. Oh. I don't know what's gonna happen next, but let's find out. As Jaden was finishing changing his completely so close in the bathroom, he could hear something coming from the ice. Jed, what in the world could have happened? I've been gone like two seconds, said Jaden. He had barely put on his new dry clothes and was hopping on one foot as he was putting on his other shoe. He opened the bathroom door and was shocked to see that everybody in the building, both on the ice and on the floor, were sliding around completely unable to stop. It was like a giant human pinball game. Uh, holy smokes, wait, have a what's going on? He shouted? Oh, noof o, We're just skating and all of a sudden, off we can't stop anymore. Jaden couldn't believe it. Everyone was just bouncing off the walls and sliding around like he'd never seen before. Even the ice was enacting normal like normally skates you can like use them as brakes to come to a stop. That wasn't even working. Everything was way too slippery. He knew he had to call Mr Jim at HQ. He reached for his bag that was thankfully with him in the bathroom, grabbed his walkie talkie and Mr Jim are you there over? Yeah? Hey, Jaden, how's A's birthday party going? Oh? Not good. It's hard to explain, but everyone is just sliding around. I'm not able to stop. It's it's like a giant human pinball game. It all happened just a couple of minutes ago when I went to the bathroom. I could use some backup. Wow, Um, does it look like anything changed? Like? Does anything look different since you went into the bathroom? Jaden paused and looked around. Noticed that the ceiling at a skylight that was open, and all the surfaces they looked really unusually shiny. All right, Mr jim I I'm looking at a skylight up there that it's open. I don't remember that being open earlier. Uh. And everything is really shiny, like the ice, the ground, the floor, the tables, everything. It's like it got sprayed with something really shiny. I think those are the two things that have changed since I went into the bathroom. Okay, great work, Jaden. Try and take a sample of that shiny stuff and find a way out. Maybe there's a window in the bathroom that you can crawl through. Yeah, except the only window I see is above the toilet. I think I'm gonna have to climb on top of that thing. Meanwhile, up in the sky, in that purple stinky blimp, lab Bus, you should say them all the people are bounding around like little balls. It's hilarious. Oh that's he's cooled. But we are only just beginning. Bernin. I want you to take this laser over to the tallest mountain, then start lasering the whole city. I'm going to start building a second laser. Just please leaves the instructions of how to build their overruns the desk. Okay, I got that break here. Come on, we gotta get to work. So Bus, you want us to get up on that laser and and uh do what exactly I told you. I want you to go to the top of the tallest mountain and start lasering the whole city. Make it all very slippery, so that even the cars will start crashing into each other. It will create quite the mayhem. Mr Jim grabbed a slide and carefully scraped Jaden, saying ample from the ice rink onto the slide and turned on the microscope. WHOA, this is incredible. What do you mean incredible? Said Jaden. Uh, let me see it. It made quite the mess at the rink. Yeah, hang on, let me make a few adjustments on it. And there. Mr Jim now had the big screen on the walls showing the view from the microscope. Jaden stood there with both hands on his hips and asked, Okay, so this looks pretty cool, but uh, what am I looking at? That's a good question, Jaden. I've never seen this before either, But this is a perfectly frictionless surface. I've never seen one in real life before. It's even hard to imagine. But that sample that you took, it doesn't have any friction on it at all. Okay, said Jaden, I can tell you're impressed, But two things. What is frictionless? And what about aim on the eyes drink and all those people bouncing around? Oh yeah, uh sorry this made me geek out for a second, and then I lost track of the mission, said Mr Jim. So friction does a lot of things. But okay, just just imagine you were wearing socks and taking a running start and slide across a shiny wood floor. Oh I love doing that, said Jaden. Oh yeah, but the less friction between those two surfaces, your socks and the wood floor, the farther you'd go. Like, what do you think would happen if you tried sliding your socks on the sidewalk? I would definitely slam my face on the ground, said Jaden. Exactly, that's because of the sidewalk has a lot of friction. But what if you were to remove all friction? No way, do you think you just slied forever? Exactly? That's what's happening at the ice rink right now. This stuff is even more slippery than ice, like a hundred times more slippery. Jaden handed Mr Jim the blimp tracker, and Mr Jim said, it looks like it's headed for Sugar Mountain. Why would they be headed there, asked Jaden. I'm not sure, but I'm gonna need you to fly up to that mountain and figure out how they're doing this, and we've got to figure out a plan how to stop them. While you're doing that, I'm gonna work on getting something to Ava a sap and help all those people sliding around at the rink. Guys, are you there? Was that Ava and the walkie talkie, said Jaden, Ava, are you there? How did you get a walkie talkie? Well, one of the times I was sliding and I smashed right into my bag and then I grabbed the walkie talking about anyway, I don't have time to explain, but can you spleez lend someone out beer? Now? Oh no, it sounds like Ava and everyone is still in some serious trouble. Are Jaden and Mr Jim gonna be able to save Ava and stop the Purple Ninjas from laser ring from the top of that mountain?
