This month 22 Tasmanians travelled to Queensland for the 2023 AFL National Inclusion Carnival for footballers with intellectual disabilities. Playing football is obviously an important part of the carnival, but it's an opportunity for players to develop their independence and education while promoting a sense of belonging in their community.
