The New Zealand women made 137 for two, with returning allrounder Amelia Kerr hitting an unbeaten half century.
But the Aussies cantered to the target in 13 and a half overs, finishing on 138 for two.
Opener and wicketkeeper Beth Mooney top-scored with 75 not out.
