The V8 Supercars have touched down in New Zealand for back to back weekends of racing action.

First up this weekend, they head to Taupo International Motorsport Park for three days of racing before heading down to Christchurch next weekend.

Yesterday evening, a New Zealand Herald article reported that Australia were placing restrictions on the showing of sport gambling ads.

They cannot advertise gambling during live sporting events between 6am and 8.30pm, athletes cannot appear in the advertisements and official team uniforms, and sport venues cannot display the ads either.

Andree Froude from the Problem Gambling Foundation joined D'Arcy to discuss.
