Saints legend Deuce McAllister joined Mike and Charlie to review the Saints' opening day of training camp in Irvine, California. McAllister shared his thoughts on Kendre Miller's hamstring injury, Alvin Kamara's commitment, and Chase Young's participation. Mike and Charlie broke down the NBA's new gigantic 11-year broadcasting contract with Disney, NBC, and Amazon. Nicholls State head football coach Tim Rebowe previewed the Colonels' upcoming 2024 season. Coach Rebowe evaluated Nicholls' electric rushing attack led by Jaylon Spears and Collin Guggenheim, two first-team preseason All-Southland Conference players. Mike, Charlie, and Steve played their daily "Triple Option" segment. Steve and Charlie listened to press conference audio from Kamara after the team's first day of training camp. Kamara expressed his commitment to New Orleans and explained his "conversation" regarding a new contract. Steve and Charlie spoke to Saints sideline reporter Jeff Nowak about day one of New Orleans' training camp. Steve and Charlie also heard from Saints QB Derek Carr.
