Back in action on a Monday after a packed sports weekend, it's The Sports Rush with Brett Rump! To kick off the show this week in the first hour, Brett and Adam preview the series that is getting underway tonight, the Eastern Conference Semifinals in the NBA between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers! Also in the first hour, the IHSAA is considering reviewing the possibility of one-time transfers in high school here in the state of Indiana, Brett's horses picks did alright over the weekend in the Kentucky Derby, another photo-finish in NASCAR, and more!

In the second hour of today's Monday Sports Rush, Brett is joined by Dylan Sinn, who covers a myriad of local and statewide sports for the Journal Gazette here in Fort Wayne! Brett and Dylan discuss Matt Painter, who will be here tomorrow in town to speak at an event, and the issue that he currently has facing his basketball team, that being one too many scholarship-receiving players on his roster. Dylan and Brett talk about possible solutions for this issue and what the Boilermakers could end up doing. We also hear from Dylan about the latest going on with the Indiana Hoosier's basketball program, as well as the Fort Wayne TinCaps, who have been on a bit of a cold streak the last few weeks of baseball play. Also in the second hour, Caitlin Clark makes her professional debut in the WNBA Preseason with the Indiana Fever, and continuing to preview Pacers at Knicks tonight!

And Adam saw his New York Knicks defeat the Philadelphia 76ers on the road in Philly to win their series. The two teams will be facing each other in the next round, and Brett and Adam debate what they should wager with each other over the series. Also in the first hour, the Purdue Men's Basketball Team has one too many rostered players, and the solutions to solve the problem are interesting to say the least.
