In today's Friday edition of The Sports Rush, both Brett and Adam have something to celebrate, as the Indiana Pacers eliminated the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 last night of their first-round series. And Adam saw his New York Knicks defeat the Philadelphia 76ers on the road in Philly to win their series. The two teams will be facing each other in the next round, and Brett and Adam debate what they should wager with each other over the series. Also in the first hour, the Purdue Men's Basketball Team has one too many rostered players, and the solutions to solve the problem are interesting to say the least.

Hour 1: Pacers/Knicks Advance, Purdue Basketball Roster

In a Thursday edition of The Sports Rush, Brett is joined in Hour 1 by Alex Golden, the creator and host of the "Setting the Pace" podcast, to talk about the Indiana Pacers! We hear Alex's thoughts on the series against Boston, the makeup of the roster and whether or not we can expect this level of performance in the future from the Pacers, or if they took advantage of injured teams in this playoff run. Also in the first hour of the show, we kick off a new segment that we are going to call our "Wednesday Wall of Fame" where we have our listeners share some of the best players or teams in certain categories each week! We did it on a Thursday to kick it off because of our show being shortened yesterday!

Brett is also joined in the second hour by Eric "Doot" Dutkiewicz of Parkview Sports Medicine to talk about the Purdue basketball news as well, an announcement about streaming from the IHSAA, and more!

But have no fear, we’ll be back tomorrow with our full two hours of bringing you your local sports fix from 4 to 6! On today’s shortened show, Brett is joined on the guest line by the General Manager of the Fort Wayne Komets, David Franke! David and Brett discuss the offseason for the Komets and for David, and what the process is like trying to get the team ready for next season! David also talks to Brett about the renewal of the partnership between the Fort Wayne Komets and the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL, as well as the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL. Also on today’s show, Brett asks why the Indiana Fever continue to struggle after adding Caitlin Clark to a team that already had last year’s #1 overall Draft Pick.
