Hour 1: Kent Sterling

In the first hour of today's mid-week Sports Rush, Brett talks about the Fort Wayne TinCaps getting a shutout win in their series opener against the Great Lakes Loons last night with a 7-0 victory. We also hear about the Indiana Fever dropping a game to the Washington Mystics earlier in the afternoon despite a standout performance from Caitlin Clark. Also, Zach Edey didn't play in the NBA Summer League last night, but should be back tonight, and Brett shares about one of his favorite sporting events that is coming up this weekend!

In addition to his work covering high school sports across the state of Indiana with the ISC Sports Network and doing work for the Indianapolis Colts, Greg is also the voice of the Indy Eleven soccer team! And, it's an exciting time for the Indy Eleven as last night they got their first win in club history over an MLS opponent, Atlanta United, in the Open Cup! We hear all about that and what it means for the club from Greg, and we also sneak in some Caitlin Clark talk as well! Also in the second hour, we are joined by Will Robbins of Empowered Sports Club as well as Gym Rats Volleyball! We hear from Will about the growth of volleyball here in Northeast Indiana as well as the USA as a whole, the latest programs that they are offering for all different kinds of people at different talent levels to get involved in the sport of volleyball, and a whole lot more!

Today, he and Brett discuss the Pacers signing Pascal Siakam to a new deal, as well as inking forward Obi Toppin to a deal that seems relatively team-friendly as well. We also hear from Jeremiah on what he's looking forward to seeing from the Pacers' Summer League team starting this weekend, the current state of the roster, and more!
