On a special edition of The Sports Rush this Thursday, Brett was out LIVE on location at Electric Works in Downtown Fort Wayne in order to broadcast the show live from the Indy 500 Fan Fest that was being held there this afternoon/evening, it was a fantastic event and we had a lot of fun! Hour 1: Indy 500 Fan Fest / Tommy Schoegler

In the first hour of today's show, Brett is joined on the guest line by Pat Boylan, part of the Indiana Pacers as well as the Indiana Fever's broadcast coverage team. Brett and Pat have a lot to discuss today, as last night's game 1 between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks saw some questionable calls at the end of a game that saw the Knicks get a narrow victory to take a 1-0 lead in the series. We hear from Pat about how concerned Pacers fans should be after one game, why Tyrese Haliburton only scored 6 points last night, and more. Also in the first hour, Brett shares his own thoughts on last night's game, and more!

There was news recently announced that the state of Indiana and the IHSAA are considering testing a new rule that would allow transfers of freshman from one high school to another without having to change addresses. We hear about how much traction this movement has among the voters, when it could actually be submitted as a proposal, and more. Also in the second hour, continuing to recap last night's unsavory Game 1 for the Indiana Pacers, and it was a bad night for Brett's Florida Panthers as well.
