On Sports Fix with D'Arcy Waldegrave for 22 September 2026, today it was confirmed that NRL referee Ashley Klein has been removed from duty from the NRL preliminary finals following 3 heavily controversial calls in the Warriors semi final defeat to the Knights on Sunday. 

Ashley and the Bunker came under heavy fire from the general public and media on both sides of the Tasman and has generated questions around the role of the Bunker in matches.
