On Sports Fix with Nick Bewley for 20 October 2026, the Silver Ferns put on a show for their home fans on Sunday night as they defeated Australia 56-50 in the opening test match of the Constellation Cup. They are back in action tomorrow night in the second test down at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch.

Kate Heffernan is a defender for the Ferns, she joined Nick to discuss.

Nick makes his argument to label Christchurch as New Zealand's sporting capital.

And Nick and Newstalk ZB Head of Sport Clay Wilson discuss whether Christchurch is New Zealand's sporting capital, confidence levels ahead of the second Constellation Cup test match, the Kiwis' second match of the Rugby League World Cup against the Cook Islands and who has the most to gain following Leroy Carter's injury.
