Life and Times of Tshepo Moreki

Tshepo Moreki was born in Natal Province, Durban.

The right-arm pacer graduated from Glenwood High School and made steady progress into the U-19 national team. As seam bowler from Glenwood High School - the same institution that produced international quick Stephen Jack - Tshepo Moreki has more than just pace.

From a young age, he showed the ability to attain late swing and land a devastating yorker.

Known for his ability to generate good pace, Moreki has a good outswinger as well as an accurate yorker.

He played in two Under-19 ODIs against England in the 2012-13 season, when he also made his first-class debut for Kwa-Zulu Natal. After two decent seasons for them, he was picked for South Africa's national academy in 2015. He toured Sri Lanka with the academy side and topped of the bowling averages in both the four-day and one-day matches. He toured Sri Lanka and had the best average in the four-day and one-day matches.

Moreki moved base from Dolphins to Cape Cobras after he was not given a contract by the former team the Dolphins, in the 2015-16. He played all the domestic one-day games, including the final and was the fifth highest wicket-taker in the tournament. The consistent performances led to him being picked in South Africa's T20 franchise league, he was snapped by Benoni Zalmi.

He currently plays for the Western Province cricket team, the WP Blitz.
