Christine Jacobs, The Adoption Center: Communicating Organizational Needs

View descriptionShare

When the stakes are high, how do you communicate your needs in a concise way that builds trust?

Christine Jacobs joins Laura to discuss the profound impact of educating and advocating for adoption. Listen in as Laura and Christine explore the common myths of adoption eligibility, how Christine builds relationships to advocate for children, and why there are no unwanted children, just unfound families. Christine also shares what she looks for in a non-profit leader and how effective communication starts by articulating organizational needs to the right people at the right time.

Christine Jacobs has more than thirty years of experience in child-welfare and is a subject matter expert in foster care adoption. She now leads the Adoption Center in the role of Executive Director.  A loving family for every child in foster care is at the core of her work at the Adoption Center.
