In this episode, we sit down with Cara Warner, a mom, music teacher, and performer, to share the story of her daughter Lily. Born in 2017 with multiple congenital heart defects, Lily’s thirty-day hospital journey was full of hard turns, fierce love, and courage.  

Clara reflects on what grief looks like in the days and years that follow, and how community support has shaped her path forward. We’re also airing this conversation just ahead of Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Week (February 7–14), a time to honor heart families and help more people understand CHD.
