In Ephesians Chapter 2, Verses 11-22, Paul is pleased to tell us, that in-Christ, both Jews and Gentiles are united through reconciliation. The gospel tears down all dividing walls and hostility and brings peace.

Pastor Art delivers a message from Ephesians Chapter 2, emphasizing humanity’s past state of spiritual death due to sin and the transformative power of God’s mercy and grace. In Ephesians 1, Paul tells us the reason we humans have such great value, is that we are made in God's image. We become more Christ-like when we know this, and do things in His name.

We don't automatically become Spiritually Mature with age. Pastor Art Dykstra explains what it takes to develop spiritual maturity, and how to live it every day.

During Paul's correspondence with Corinthians he urges them to be on guard, vigilant, ready to defend the Gospel. Pastor Art Dykstra also asks us, as a church, to rely on each other for support and strength, as we would do in a battle.

Some of the most famous philosophers in history have dedicated their lives searching for the meaning of...the significance of our human lives.  A few actually were declared insane after failing to find the answers.  But Pastor Art Dykstra tells us that in the book of Ecclesiastes, Solomon discovers that we need to believe in a power greater than ourselves, to understand our own significance. 

How can we find strength in weakness?  God doesn't want us to brag about ourselves to inflate our own personal egos.  We can only grow when we allow Him to be in control.  

Are we content?  If not, how much more do we need before we CAN be content? Listen to what Paul says about the subject in his correspondence with Corinthians.  

Studies show we are bombarded with some 12,000 to 50,000 thoughts each day to process. With all of those thoughts , how do we know which ones we're supposed to keep, and which ones to throw away?  It's like a Spiritual War inside of us every day.

In I Thessalonians 5-18,  Paul follows Jesus, led by the Holy Spirit, to Macedonia. And despite local law, he preaches the Gospel, and is severely flogged and jailed. Paul says to rejoice always in God's will, and give thanks in everything. The message is to adopt an attitude of gratitude, and recognize the good in our lives. And good things will follow as they did for Paul.
