Eloise Interview!

Soul Food fam we have a verrrry exciting announcement... tonight we welcome to the show none other than theeee phenomenal UK soul artist and songwriter... Eloise!! @eloweeeezy

Having released her sophomore album 'My Man & Me' in June of this year, Harriet and Hannah had the pleasure of catching up with Eloise late last week to hear all about her last few musical months post-release & pre-tour!

Throughout our conversation we got an insight into all the work that has gone into this latest homecoming project, touching on the importance of track listing, intentional storytelling and lyricism, Barbara Streisand, the amazing collaborators across on the project (shoutout that horns section!!), and the realisation of central themes emerging in hindsight of creating a body of work such as this🎀

Eloise is now embarking on 'The Drama Queen Tour', performing her latest album across Australia, Europe, UK and US - starting off with Sydney tomorrow night and Melbourne this Friday at The Corner Hotel!

Join us TONIGHT to listen to in to this marvellous chat and hear all about Eloise's creative process, her deeply intuitive exploration of love in all its forms across this album, and some very exciting live shows to come!!

Bringing a warmth and Motown-esque instrumental presence, Xanthe’s work draws inspiration from the likes of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Erykah Badu. Vocally, Xanthe offers a dynamic performance informed by years of songwriting, her experience reaching the Semi-Finals of The Voice (2022) and a blend of jazz, soul and pop music.
