How are lay Catholics called to be active agents of the New Evangelization rather than passive spectators in the pews? On The Son Rise Morning Show, host Anna Mitchell welcomes back Fr. Frank Donio, S.A.C., Director of the Catholic Apostolate Center, to explore the Magisterium's teaching on the vital role of the laity in spreading the Gospel.

Fr. Donio examines how Pope Benedict XVI’s apostolic letter Porta Fidei urged the faithful to rediscover the joy of believing and to radiate Christ’s love through everyday witness rather than self-righteousness. He then highlights how Pope Francis built upon this vision in Evangelii Gaudium, emphasizing that every baptized person—regardless of their level of theological education or office—is called to be a "missionary disciple." Discover how living the faith with authentic joy, charity, and personal engagement can transform the world around us. Stream now to listen!
