If a crisis happened tonight… would your family know what to do?

The reality is:
Many people do not have a trust
Others have outdated or incomplete documents
Some believe a Will avoids probate (it does not)

When documents are missing or not properly set up, families are often forced into:
Probate court
Delays in accessing assets
Increased legal costs
Emotional stress during an already difficult time

Why This Conversation Matters (Especially in Arizona)

Arizona has specific laws that can either protect your family—or complicate things depending on how your documents are structured.

During the show, we discussed key tools that can make a significant difference:

1. Trusts (and the Importance of Funding Them)

A trust can help avoid probate—but only if it’s properly funded.

👉 This means assets must actually be titled in the name of the trust.
Without funding, even a trust can fail to avoid probate.

2. Beneficiary Deeds (Transfer-on-Death Deeds)

Arizona allows beneficiary deeds, which can transfer real estate without probate.

They must be recorded correctly
