Jomo Cosmos Coach Jomo Sono says he will not take his family’s money and run his team with it. He was reacting to his former player Chris Katongo that he does not care about gaining promotion but only making profit from selling his players. Cosmos has got a fairly new team after getting rid of most players last season. Cosmos lost to TS Galaxy 1-0 in the Nedbank cup match on Sunday at Makhulong stadium in Tembisa. Cosmos captain Ange Lebahi scored an own goal to hand Galaxy a win. Ezenkosi created many clear cut opportunities but found the opposition goalkeeper Ludwe Mpakumpaku in superb form. Sono says the team does not have a crisis in attack. Ezenkosi played without central defender Sicelo Hlatswayo, who is rumored to be on his way to a second division team in Spain next season. He has played 14 matches in all competition this season scoring one goal. Sono says he is off form at the moment. Cosmos is in 12th position on the log with 23 points from 20 matches. The team is 11 points adrift of Ajax Cape Town, who are in the play-off spot with 10 rounds left. Sono says promotion to the PSL is still a possibility. They have signed Orlando Pirates striker Ayanda Nkosi on loan.
