Even when you don’t know what to pray, God does. And even better – God is praying that perfect prayer on your behalf. Romans 8 tells us that the Holy Spirit and Jesus are interceding for us.
The Spirit longs to help us in our weakness. So, when you don’t know how to pray, try sitting with God and letting him pray for you. He interprets the groans and longings of our hearts. He takes our weakness and turns it into strength.
God has you. You can rest in him. You can place your hope in him.
He is working all things together for God.
This week, we will create some space to meditate on God’s Word and to sit quietly with God as he prays for us.

Romans 8:26-28, NLT
26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
