The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has cut the OCR by 50 basis points in the final announcement of the year.
Many are of the mindset that it's low enough to fix for a longer term - but that may not be the case.
Experts say even though the cuts are looking good, banks aren't fully reflecting them in mortgage rates.
