The volume. What's up, guys, and welcome to another episode of Sloan Nose by myself, except for this time I have a special guest. This is Rookie. Rookie, can you tell us who your favorite basketball player is? Oh, my gosh, Anthony Edwards because he has that dog in him. Obviously, Sorry that was such a bad joke. But fun fact, Rookie is named Rookie because that's Steph Curry's dog's name. You know, basketball love just runs in the family. Okay, Anyways, we'll continue and hope that Rookie does embark. Okay, So I'm gonna start off with my NBA All Star predictions. These are my predictions, not who I'm gonna vote for. And I preface that by saying that I'm sort of that annoying Warriors fan that when I vote for the West, I literally vote for the whole Warrior starting five. Yeah. I think Kevon Looney deserves an All Star vote here and there. I'm sorry I do, but here are my predictions. So in the West we have Jokic, Luca, Shay, Katie, and Lebron. Do I think Lebron necessarily deserves to be an All Star starter? Not necessarily, But do I understand who Lebron is? Yes, I do. There's just not gonna be a time where Lebron's in the NBA and he isn't voted as an All Star Starter. It's that simple. Next up, let's go to the East. I think it's gonna be Jannis kat, Jason Tatum, Donovan Mitchell, and Trey Young. I know that that's a little bit unpopular, but Trey's really been balin, which has been great to see. Oh, Roo's you're tired. I guess he thinks that this is boring. I don't. Anyways, I think it's really cool to see Kat in the talks of being an All Star starter, especially because I think when the trade happened to New York. I don't know if it was necessarily Timberwolves fans or just NBA fans in general saying it wasn't a good trade for the Knicks. But we see how that worked out, and Cat's been balin, so that's been really cool. All right, So next up, the Phoenix Suns have changed the price of pretty much all of the food in their arena, which is so cool. So like a hot dog that used to be ten dollars is now two dollars. I sort of want to go to a Sun's game. Now that's so cool. I mean, you get to watch Kdie, you get to watch a d book, you get to watch Bradley Beal, and you can have like a one dollar pretzel. I mean, what could be better than that. Rookie would love that too. He can see a little thick. He eats a lot of foods, so okay Rooks. Anyways, now we're gonna move on to the slow nosed drip ladder. So my producer over here is gonna show me some fits from the past few weeks in the NBA, and I'm gonna tell you guys my thoughts. All right, So first off, we have Reed Shepherd in I actually I don't have words, but I'll explain it to you the best I can. So he's wearing cowboy boots with fish nets on them. No hate to people wearing cowboy boots. I'm wearing cowboy boots right now. But Reed's boots. Oh maybe it's a basketball net. Wow, that's or fishing net. I don't know what Reid's doing, but just the boots are vulgar. I don't know what's a nice word to use to describe them. Okay, then he's wearing some khaki overalls and a little red crew neck underneath. I mean he is on the rockets. They're red. They play in Texas. I still don't really get the vision. But maybe it's the Kentucky and him really bringing out the Southern vibes. Who knows, but read this is a miss. I'm gonna give this like a zero out of ten. Okay. Next up is Nikhil Alexander Walker, the cousin right of the best dressed guy in the league. Okay, so this fits. See he's doing He's doing the boots right. So he's got some dark brown like suede boots on a nice low rise gene. But then he's pairing the casualness of the gene with a collar shirt and a tie, a full trench coat. The braids are nice. I like everything about it. This is a really good, clean fit. It's not giving too much, it's not giving too little. It's a vibe. I'm gonna give this one an eight out of ten. Hold up, I need to revoke what I just said about Nikil Alexander Walker's cousin being the best dressed guy in the NBA, because, wow, this is a misshee. I always get it. I always stand up for you, but these boots, what is happening. He's wearing giant boots that look like you go like marching in some mud in practically skinny jeans, a baggy shirt tucked in. The Only things that I like about this are the glasses, which are cool in the bag. Those are nice. But this is a misshap. It's like a four out of ten. Okay. Now we have Terrence Man. Wow, who knew t Man could dress? I really like this outfit. He's wearing Doc Martins, which are fire. I love Doc Martins, especially as a short girl. I need to be wearing Doc Martins. Terence Man probably doesn't have that problem as much, but it's still cool. Then he's wearing some nice leather baggy pants and a sick Harley Davidson bomber. This is a really nice fit. I'm gonna give this one a nine out of ten. Okay. Lastly, we have Jay Dubb and the picture I was given, I do not see his pants, but I'm just assuming those were cool, So I'm just gonna rank the top part of his fit. So he has a little white tank top underneath a big chain, a like one of those like I don't even know what the word is, but one of those like flannels that like dads wear like fish or dads. Okay, And then he has a nice leather jacket and some nice glasses. Again, I just love glasses. I really like his glasses. It's sort of a miss. I don't really like the layering with the with the leather jacket and the flannel, but I see where he's going and it's jade. He makes anything look cool. So I'm gonna give this one like a six point five out of ten. All Right, those are my fits for now. If you have any fits that you want me to rank, make sure to comment those down and I'll take a look at those. All right. So now we're gonna move on to Darvinham. So Darvinham, who was the old head coach of the Lakers and won the in season tournament with them, is now an assistant coach on the Milwaukee Bucks, who just won the latest inn season tournament. Look at that. He just can't lose in the end season tournament. In fact, he's undefeated, which is amazing, but that doesn't really stand for what his career have looked like. Obviously, we know that there was a lot of beef when he left the Lakers. And what was interesting is once he won with the Bucks, he did not hold back on what he had to say. He said to do as well as I did as the Lakers coach, I swear to God, anyone else, I'm probably looking at an extension for what I did. He's not talking about feelings. I'm talking about actual facts. He says. They go from not making the playoffs to the final four in the NBA, the conference finals, and then you win the n season tournament, navigate through all the injuries and win both of your playing games to get to the playoffs. He's not holding back. He thinks that the Lakers organization treated him poorly, which you know what, it's a fair point. I mean, he did get treated poorly, he got booted out of there, and now he's winning n season tournaments with the Bucks. So I hear what Darvin has to say. I mean, you know, JJ's definitely a better fit, but I get what he's saying, all right. Next up is Dennis Shrewder to the Dubs. So when I first saw this as a Warriors fan, I was hyped. I mean, we all know Dennis. He can easily average a twenty piece. He's a great defender, he's has a great court vision, and he's just a player that's had great longevity in the league. He's been a constant player for so long. Also, if you watch international basketball, he's literally German Jordan. I swear to God, like he's so good for Germany. And I don't know if you guys saw, but in the offseason he actually played like Division six soccer in Germany, so that guy is very athletic. Anyway, I say all that to basically say that I was really happy saying, oh whatever, like the Wards were just in a slump, We're gonna turn it around, Dennis whatever. And then we basically lose by fifty to the Grizzlies. This is bad. This is bad. I don't like what I see. But as much as I don't like what I see, I still don't think we should trade for Jimmy Butler. I don't think we're gonna win a CHIP. I don't think we're gonna be in contingent to win a CHIP, So I don't understand why we would get rid of our young core for a star that really has three to four years left. No hay to Jimmy, but I think he should stay in Miami see what's going on there. And I think the Warriors need to really put all their marbles and put all their marbles with Jonathan Kaminga. That was not a good analogy, but I'm trying my hardest. Okay, guys, Well that was this episode of Sloan Knows the NBA and basketball all by myself. And remember like and subscribe and comment down below all of the things you want me to talk about next. Bye.
