Hello, I'm grace for tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot com. We will be meditating on Psalm ninety. Begin tonight's meditation by surrendering to the Lord. Cast your cares and anxieties on him. Tell him about your struggles from today. Know nothing can be hidden in the light of his presence. He wants you to trust him with everything so that you may find rest in him. Take a deep breath. Breathe in his love and goodness. Breathe out your stress and anxiety. Take another deep breath. Breathe in his mercy and grace. Breathe out your guilt and shame. Let the favor of God rest on you to night and fill your heart with joy, hope, and peace. Close your eyes and get ready to receive God's word. Allow his truth to fill you with his life and love. Allow his truth to focus your heart on eternity. Breathe in and out. In our ever changing world. We can find comfort in the everlasting nature of God, Knowing he has always existed and he always will. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the one who gave us life, and the one who will take us to his dwelling to rest. P. Ninety from the King James's version says, Lord, thou hast been a dwelling place in all generations before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hast formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting. Thou art God, Thou turnest man to destruction, and sayest return, ye, children of men, for a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night Thou carriest them away. As with flood, they are as asleep in the morning. They are like grass, which groweth up. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up. In the evening it is cut down and witheeth. For we are consumed by Thine anger, and by thy wrath. We are troubled. Thou hast set our iniquities before thee our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. For all our days are passed away in thy wrath. We spend our years as a tale that is told. The days of our years are three score years and ten, and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years. Yet is their strength, labor and sorrow, For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knoweth the power of thine anger even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Return, O Lord, how long, and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. O satisfy us early with thy mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. And establish thou the works of our hands upon us. Yea, the work of our hands establish thou. It God's word reminds us he is everlasting, He was, he is, and he is yet to come, meaning he is our past, present, and future. He is our constant in this changing world. We can dwell in his safety for all the days of our lives, and we can rest securely in his hands every night, and one day we will dwell in His holy place for eternity, where our bodies will be restored and our souls will be replenished. Breathe in and out slowly, close your eyes and imagine a seed planted firmly in the ground, springing up through the soil in the morning, looking for the sun's light to nourish it and help it grow. Without water, the sun's rays become too intense, and the sprout becomes dry and withered by sundown, like the plant. By evening, we are dry and withered due to the trouble and sorrow we face in this world. Tonight, drink from the Lord's eternal springs and allow him to refresh your mind, body, and soul. We can never hide our sins from God. Our secret sins, the darkness within us is always brought to light in His presence. So tonight, let's not hold on to our sins and struggles, but let's release them to God. Confession is not to inform God of our sins, but to come to God with our sins to be redeemed and restored by His grace and love. Acknowledge any unconfessed sin before the Lord, ask for his help to break free from the sin that weighs you. Down, Take a deep breath, Lift your sin and shame to the Lord. Exhale slowly and feel awake. Lift off your shoulders. Feel your heart lightened as God takes away your sin and covers you with his forgiveness. Know His mercies are new for you every morning. Rejoice in his unfailing love and compassion. Thank the Lord for fully knowing you and fully loving you. Thank him for pouring out his favor upon you and setting you apart for his work. Thank him for the good days he has given you. Think of a person who needs to experience God's forgiveness tonight. Pray he will touch their hearts and shed light on their darkness. Pray he will release them from their guilt and shame so that they may find rest. Tonight, Come to the Lord with your weariness and burdens and find rest in him. Lay your requests before him. Pray for the Lord to teach you to number your days, to realize how fleeting time really is, so that you will never take one day for granted, and you will strive to do God's work every day. Pray for the Lord to bless the work of your hands. Pray he will help you find rest tonight to prepare you to be productive in your work and in his mission tomorrow. Pray for the Lord to give you wisdom and understanding so that you may receive His blessing and favor in this lifetime. Pray you will help you rest in His truth tonight. Take a deep breath, Exhale slowly, and release any stress and tension that is still lingering from today. Know your life is in the hands of the Lord, in the hands of the everlasting God, and he will be with you wherever you go until the end of time. Invite God's presence as you sleep and find rest in Him tonight and satisfaction in Him tomorrow.
