Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com. We will be meditating on Psalm seventy. To begin this meditation, take a deep breath as you inhale, feel your chest rise as your lungs fill with air. Hold your breath for a few seconds. Exhale slowly, and feel your chest fall as the air flows throughout your body, rejuvenating every muscle and joint whether you are lying down or sitting up in a chair. Keep your back flat and straight to maintain good posture and to help the oxygen flow freely to every cell in your body. Inhale and exhale slowly with each breath. Feel your heart rate slow down and your body relax. Close your eyes and focus your thoughts on God. Remember who he is, your helper and deliver in times of trouble. He is the one who sustains you through the day and lifts your burdens at night. Breathe in His power and strength. Breathe out any stress and anxiety from today. Release any tension in your body. As you get ready to listen to God's word, Ask God to speak to you tonight. Ask for his truth to bring you comfort and peace as you prepare for sleep, Allow his voice to lead you to a safe, secure place where you can rest through the night. In our weakest moments, the Bible tells us to cry out to God and to seek him so that we can request his help and experience his joy and hope as we wait. Psalm seventy from the King James version says, make haste, o God, to deliver me. Make haste to help me, O Lord. Let them be ashamed and come founded that seek after my soul. Let them be turned backward and put to confusion that desire my hurt. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame. That say, aha, aha. Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be gladden Thee. And let such as love thy salvation say continually, let God be magnified. But I am poor and needy. Make haste unto me, O God, thou art my help and my deliver O Lord, make no tearing. Meditate on the goodness and faithfulness of God. Find joy in his salvation, find strength in his power. Seek him tonight and find rest. Take a deep breath as your chest rises. Think of God's hand lifting you up and helping you rise above your stress, above your circumstances, above any noise that is keeping you from finding rest. Exhale slowly and release your fears and worries. Breathe in and out. Relax your neck and shoulders, Soften your fingers and toes. Take another deep breath. Imagine God lifting your burdens and filling your lungs with air that will rejuvenate and restore your body. As you exhale, imagine God delivering you from your troubles and calming your mind to help you experience deep, peaceful rest. We tend to praise God for what he does rather than for who he is. Think of a time when you fail to praise God during difficult period of your life. Confess any doubts you have of his goodness. Ask Him to help you focus on who He is rather than on what He does for you. Breathe in and out. Slowly, feel his love and grace wash over you. Feel his joy fill your heart as you think about His salvation with your next exhile, release any guilt and shame you are experiencing. Know He came to rescue you and redeem you. Praise the name of the Lord. Praise Him for his glory and power. Thank Him for the times he has helped you and delivered you. Thank Him for his salvation. Think of some one who needs God's help with a difficult situation or a difficult relationship. Pray God will deliver them and protect them to night. Pray they will be comforted by His presence as they sleep upon the Lord. Cast all your anxieties on him. Tell him about your struggles and your troubles. Know he will hear your cry and he will help you and sustain you. Pray for God to help those who are being persecuted. Pray God will protect them and their families tonight as they sleep. Pray for God's help in a specific area of your life. Pray he will deliver you from your troubles. Pray for God to help you. Praise Him during difficult times. Pray he will fill you with his perfect peace. Tonight so that you may find rest. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Exhale slowly, and release any stress and tension that is still lingering from today. Put your trust in God and know he will come to you when you need help. As you relax, allow God to refresh your soul and rejuvenate your mind and body as you sleep through the night.
