Hello, I'm Grace for Tonight's sleep song by pray dot Com. Be meditating on Psalm thirty two. Tonight's Psalm focuses on God's forgiveness and how it refreshes and renews our mind, body, and soul. So to get ready to meditate on God's word, Let's clear the negative thoughts from our mind so that we can focus on receiving God's love and grace. First, sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Your hands can rest on your lap or by your side. Choose something in your space to focus on, like a spot on the wall or on the ceiling. As you do some deep breathing exercises. Breathe in and out slowly through your nose as you inhale slowly, feel your stomach expand hold your breath for a few seconds, and then release by exhaling slowly through your nose, feel your stomach relax and fall back into position. As you relax and your mind clears, meditate on God's forgiveness and grace with each new breath. Imagine being filled with His mercies with each exhale. Imagine letting go of your guilt and shame. Focus on God as your redeemer, your savior. Take a deep breath and open your heart to hear his voice. Ask for him to speak to you through his word. Listen for his still small voice to lead you down a safe, secure path that leads to peaceful rest. The Bible tells us those who are forgiven are blessed. Tonight, find joy in God's forgiveness and allow it to lighten your heart. Calm your mind, and relax your body. Psalm thirty two from the King James's version says, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputteth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long, for day and night, Thy hand was heavy upon me. My moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Silah, I acknowledge my sin unto THEE, and mine iniquity. Have I not hid? I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord, and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Silah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto Thee. In a time when thou mayest be found, Surely in the floods of great waters, they shall not come nigh unto him. Thou art my hiding place. Thou shalt preserve me from trouble. Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Syllah. I will instruct thee and teach THEE in the way which thou shalt go. I will guide THEE with mine eye. Be ye, not as the horse or as the mule, which have no understanding, whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle. Lest they come near unto thee. Many sorrow shall be to the wicked. But he that trusteth in the Lord mercy shall compass him about. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous, and shalt for joy all ye that are upright in heart. God does not want us to sit in our guilt and shame. The Bible reveals his forgiveness is greater than our sin. He has covered all our sins. He does not keep a record of our wrongs. Let's take delight in God's word and find joy and freedom in his forgiveness and love. Take a deep breath. Invite the presence of God as you sleep. Allow his forgiveness and love to wash over you and cleanse you from the inside out. He surrounds your heart and mind with his love, keeping your focus on him through the night. Close your eyes and imagine the shackles of sin being broken and a savior lifting you up to a safe, secure place where no harm can come to you. Know when he looks down at you, he sees his righteousness and he takes delight in you. There is no fear in his perfect love. Just take refuge in him and He will protect you and surround you with his peace. Tonight, think of a time when you were stubborn and refused to follow God's way. Confess the sin that came from following your own path. Ask for his forgiveness and for his deliverance from your struggles with sin. Take a deep breath, allow His grace and love to wash over you. As you exhale, release any guilt and shame you are holding onto. Know He will help you overcome your struggles and will surround you with the beautiful sounds of victory. Thank God for forgiving your transgressions and covering your sins. Praise for redeeming and restoring you. Rejoice in the Lord and be glad. Think of someone who needs to experience God's forgiveness tonight. Pray God will show his grace and love for them. Pray He will deliver them from their shame and guilt so that they may find rest. Tonight, as you settle for the night, lift up your requests to the Lord. Cast all your cares and anxieties on him. Believe He will take care of you and relieve you of your stress from to day. Pray God will soften your heart toward Him and keep you on His path that leads to joy and hope. Pray you will find peaceful rest in him. Pray God will dispel any negative thoughts you have about yourself or about him. Pray He will renew your mind and spirit. Tonight. Pray God will protect you and your family through the night. May His presence surround you as you sleep. Take a deep breath, Breathe in His love and grace. Breathe out and release any tension and stress that is still lingering from to day. Focus your thoughts on His goodness and strength to help you settle your mind for the night. As your body relaxes, allow God to give you rest that is deep and peaceful, as He gives you life that is abundant and joyful.
