Try to quiet your mind so that you can focus your thoughts on God. Breathe in and out, close your eyes and meditate on the goodness of God. See him as the creator of the world, the creator of you. Be in awe of his beauty. Know you bear his image and are a beautiful part of his creation. He cares for you deeply. He wants to lift your burdens and give you rest. He wants to soothe your soul and renew your spirit with His truth. Open your eyes and breathe in and out as you exhale. Release all the stress today, give it all to God. Tonight you can rest knowing you are in the hands of your perfect creator, whose truth withstands the test of time. The Bible tells us all of creation testifies to the greatness of God. Psalm nineteen from the King James version says, the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth his handiwork day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
In them.
Hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it. And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous. Altogether more to be desired are they than gold, yea than much fine gold. Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is thy servant warned, and in keeping of them there is great reward who can understand his errors. Cleanse thou me from secret faults, Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Invite the presence of God as you sleep. Bask in his greatness. Contemplate the wonderful work of his hands. Close your eyes and imagine God's beautiful creation as a masterpiece hanging on the wall. Mar At the beauty of the stars against the night sky, and the brilliance of the Sun's rays touching the earth as it travels from east to west, from the morning to the evening. Just like the light of the radiant sun, his brilliance shines upon you, keeping you warm and safe. Rest in the mighty hands of your creator, and fill your mind with his beauty. As your mind settles, take a deep breath, allow your chest to fully expand Breathe out slowly. Meditate on his word. Let it fill you with wisdom that refreshes your soul, brings joy to your heart, and gives light to your eyes. Breathe in and out. Close your eyes and taste the sweetness of huns on your lips. Know his word is even sweeter. Allow it to nourish your body as you sleep. Focus on taking deep breaths. With your next exhale, let go of any doubts you have of the greatness of God. Fully immerse yourself in His truth and allow his presence to relax your body, renew your mind, and rejuvenate your soul. Invite God to search your heart and examine your ways. Pray for his forgiveness for sins you have done unknowingly. Ask God to help you keep his commands. Breathe in his grace. As you breathe out, let go of your guilt and shame. Surrender to God's love and find inner peace and rest. Rejoice in the name of the Lord. Pray praise Him for the wonderful works he has done, and for the beautiful creation he has made. Praise Him for his righteousness that secures your salvation. Thank Him for redeeming your life. Think of someone who does not know their worth in their creator. Pray He will show them their value and worth as a beautiful part of his creation. Pray they will find their confidence in him. Now is the time to lay requests before God. Cast all your cares and anxieties on him. Find rest in knowing God will lighten your load and lead you to a path of life and righteousness. Pray your words, thoughts, and actions will please God. Pray for his guidance tomorrow. Pray you will value his word above all else. Pray he will remind you how precious and sweet it is. Pray for peaceful rest that will rejuvenate your body, keeping you healthy for life. Take a deep breath. As you exhale, release any tension and stress that is still lingering from today. Relax your neck and shoulders. Feel your body soften and your mind settle. As your body relaxes, allow God to refresh your soul and bring you peace to help you rest through the night.
