Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot Com. We will be meditating on Psalm twelve. As you lay down, relax your shoulders, rest your arms by your side, and take a few deep breaths. Release any tension in your body. Close your eyes and breathe in and out slowly. Clear your mind, and focus your thoughts on God. Remember who He is, the all powerful, sovereign one that knows you, seize you, loves you, and sustains you. He knows the weight of what you are carrying from today, and He is ready to lift your burdens and give you rest for your mind, body, and soul. Bring today's worries and anxieties to him. Know he cares for you. Know he came to bring you a life filled with joy, hope, and peace. Focus on his promises, on his faithfulness, on his truth. Breathe in and out slowly. When you breathe in, allow your lungs to completely fill with air before exhaling. When you breathe out, release the stress and tension in your muscles. As your body relaxes, focus on opening your mind and heart to hear God's voice. Listen to your heartbeat and focus on breathing in and out slowly until your heart rate slows down. Tonight, ask God to help you hear his voice of truth. Allow his still small voice to speak love into your life. Words have power. They can build us up, or they can destroy us. They can flatter us, or they can speak truth into our lives. The Bible reminds us to use our words wisely and to listen to his voice above all other voices. Psalm twelve from the King James version said, help Lord, for the godly man ceaseth for the faithful fail From among the children of men, they speak vanity, every one with his neighbor, with flattering lips, and with a double heart do they speak. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaketh proud things. Who have said, with our tongue, will we prevail? Our lips are our own who is Lord over us, for the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy. Now will I arise, said the Lord. I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, o Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever. The wicked walk on every side when the vilest men are exalted. As you meditate on God's word tonight, quiet all the noise in your mind and focus on his voice. Remove any distractions that are keeping you from hearing God. Release any stress in your body. Breathe in and out slowly. As you relax, be still before God and hear his tender voice speak to your heart. Its words are flawless and pure. His words are loving and encouraging. His words will lead you down the path of life and righteousness. He will never deceive you, He will never disparait you. His words will give you rest. Close your eyes and focus on God's faithfulness. Know he will take care of your every need. Breathe then and out slowly. When the world seems to be devoid of truth, Put your hope in the word of God. His truth never changes, it transcends time. Trust what he says. Trust in his promises. His word is the foundation of the world. His word will never cease. The tongues of those who flatter and boast will be silenced, but the Lord's word will prevail. Breathe then and out. Allow his protection to spread over you. Allow his peace to wash over you. Relax your body, release any tension in your muscles. Breathe then and out. Confess any lies or hurtful words that have come out of your mouth. Ask the Lord to forgive you for any pain you may have caused others. Ask him to help you think before you speak. Take a deep breath and allow his forgiveness to wash over you. As you breathe out, let go of your guilt and shame. Surrender to God's love and find inner peace and rest. Praise God for the loving words he has spoken over you. Praise Him for the way he provides for you. Thank Him for his word. Think of someone who uses their words to hurt others, or someone who has been hurt by the words of others. Pray God will bring them peace and show them the path of life. Lay your requests before God. Cast all your cares and anxieties on him. Allow His truth to comfort you and help you experience a deep, RESTful sleep tonight. Pray for God to bring other Christians in your life to support you and encourage you in your walk with him. Pray for God to show you how to care for the poor and needy in your community. Pray he will put his desires in your heart. Pray for God to help you use your words wisely. Ask Him to help you build others up. Pray for God's provision and protection for your family. Pray for your daily bread. Pray for God's comfort when others hurt you with their words. Pray God will help you forgive others when they slander you. Release any stress that is still lingering from today. Completely surrender to God. Put your trust in him. Feel the comfort of his presence. Allow His truth to bring you hope and peace. Breathe in and out slowly as your body relaxes. Allow God to refresh your soul and help you rest through the night.
