Hello, I'm Grace for to night's sleep Psalm by Prey dot com. We will be meditating on Psalm one hundred and nine. Begin tonight's meditation by relaxing your body and mind. Lie down flat on your back with your knees bent and your head elevated. Relax your neck and shoulders. Rest your arms by your side with your palms facing downward. Take a deep breath through your nose. Feel your belly expand as your chest remains still. Hold your breath for a few seconds. Exhale slowly and feel your belly contract, pushing the cleansing air throughout your body, relaxing you and rejuvenating you. Take another deep breath, feel your belly expand exhale slowly and contract your belly and release any tension in your body and the anxious thoughts in your mind. Focus your thoughts on God, Meditate on his sovereignty, on his faithfulness. Know He is in control of your life and he wants you to take one day, one trouble at a time. With your next breath, lift your troubles to the Lord as you exhale, release the stress from to day and the anxiety you are experiencing to night. As you release your burdens, feel your mind quiet down and your heart slow down. Soften your joints from your fingers to your toes. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Ask God to speak to you through to night Psalm Breathe in and out slowly. When our heart is broken and we feel betrayed, God's word reminds us we can look to Him for help and comfort to night. Put your trust in the Lord and find rest in His sovereignty. Psalm one hundred and nine from the King James version says, hold not thy peace, o God of my praise for the mouth of the wicked, and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me. They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They compassed me about also with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause for my love. They are my adversaries. But I give myself unto prayer, and they have rewarded me evil for good and hatred for my love. Set thou a wicked man, over him, and let Satan stand at his right hand when he shall be judged. Let him be condemned, and let his prayer become sin. Let his days be few, and let another take his office. Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. Let his children be continually vagabonds and beg Let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places. Let the extortioner catch all that he hath, and let the stranger spoil his labor. Let there be none to extend mercy unto him, neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children. Let his posterity be cut off, and in the generation following, let their name be blotted out. Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the lord, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth, because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay, broken in heart, as he loved cursing. So let it come unto him, as he delighted, not in blessing. So let it be far from him, as he clothed himself with cursing, like as with his garment. So let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle, wherewith he is girded. Continually, Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the Lord, and of them that speak evil against my soul. But do thou for me, o, Lord the God, for thy name's sake, because thy mercy is good. Deliver thou me. For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. I am gone like the shadow when declineth. I am tossed up and down as the locust. My knees are weak through fasting, and my flesh faileth of fatness. I became also a reproach unto them. When they looked upon me, they shaked their heads. Help me, O, Lord, my God, O save me according to thy mercy, that they may know that this is thy hand, that Thou, Lord hast done it. Let them curse, but bless thou when they arise. Let them be ashamed, but let thy servant rejoice. Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle. I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth. Yea, I will praise him among the multitude, for he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul. When you are alone and isolated, you can rest assured that the Lord is with you. He fully knows you and fully loves you. Know when he looks at you, he sees his chosen one, who has been set apart to serve him and take part in his inheritance. In his goodness, he will help you and deliver you. In his love, he will comfort you and sustain you through the night. Take a deep breath, lift your spirit, and praise the Lord. Exhale slowly and allow his praise to fill you with joy, warming your heart, renewing your mind. Take another deep breath, allow your belly to fully expand. Exhale slowly, and let go of any criticisms or negative words that others have spoken over you. Rejoice in the sovereign Lord who sees you, loves you, and sustains you. Breathe in and out slowly. Ask in the presence of the Lord. Know he is sitting at your right hand, saving you from those who condemn you, from the shame that you carry with you. Know in the Lord's presence there is no shame. Allow his grace and love to heal your brokenness and to bring light into the darkness of the night. Think of a time when some one slandered you or committed some wrong against you, and you retaliated or struggled with forgiveness. Confess any anger or bitterness you have in your heart. Confess any slander and gossip that may have been on your tongue. Ask for God's forgiveness. Ask for God's strength to help you forgive others and help you trust Him to administer his justice and mercy. Breath in his love and grace. Breathe out your guilt and shame. Be comforted by the sovereignty of the Lord, knowing ye will right all the wrongs committed against you. Rejoice in the sovereignty of the Lord. Praise Him for being in control of your life. Thank Him for the ways he has helped you and for the times he has delivered you. Thank Him for showing you his love and mercy. Every day. Think of a person who is hurting due to slander and gossip others have spoken about them. Pray God will restore their reputation and help them focus their eyes on him. Pray they will find peaceful rest. Tonight, lay your requests before the Lord. Lift your thoughts and feelings to him. Know he hears you, and he will intervene on you. Behalf Pray for the poor, the needy, and the broken hearted. Pray God will help them and comfort them with his love. Pray for you to experience God's blessing. Pray he will help you to depend on Him for everything you need. Pray for God's provision and protection Tonight. Pray he sustains you through the night. Breathe in and out slowly, allow the Lord's peace to soothe your soul as you put your trust in him.
