Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep psalm. We will be meditating on Psalm eighty. To begin this meditation, get in a comfortable position, maintain good pass opening up your chest and heart. Opening up your airway to allow the air to travel throughout your body, bringing oxygen to every cell, bone and muscle to revitalize you and rejuven at you. Take a deep breath. Exhale slowly and release any tension in your body. Relax your neck and shoulders. Breathe in and out. As your body relaxes, focus on clearing your mind to hear God's word. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Breathe in the strength of the Lord. Breathe out your stress and anxiety from today with your next inhale, lift your burdens to God. When you exhale, surrender to Him and allow Him to guide you to a place where you can find rest and satisfaction. In him, breathe in and out slowly, prepare to receive God's word. When all seems lost and hopeless, the Bible reminds us God can save us and restore us. He will not leave us in our brokenness, but he will use our brokenness to draw us to Him, so that He can lead us to his path of salvation, where our future is secure and where we can find rest in our present. Psalm eighty from the King James's version says, give ear, o Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock, Thou that dwellest between the Cherubims, shine forth before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manassa. Stir up thy strength, and come and save us. Turn us again, o God, and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. O Lord, God of Hosts. How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people. Thou feedest them with the bread of tears, and givest them tears to drink in great measure. Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves. Turn us again, o God of Hosts, and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt. Thou hast cast out the heathen and planted it. Thou preparest room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land. The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars. She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river. Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her. The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it. Return we beseech thee O, god of hosts, look down from heaven, and behold and visit this fine and the vineyard which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. It is burned with fire, it is cut down. They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself. So will not we go back from thee quicken us and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again, O, Lord, God of Hosts, cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. Like lost sheep in the wilderness. We need the shepherd to lead us, to guide us into safety. When we call upon his voice, we will gather his flock, and he will drive us from the barren wilderness into the green pastures where we can experience his hope, peace, and joy. Breathe in and out slowly, close your eyes and feel the warmth of the presence of God cover you, keeping you warm and safe and secure through the night. Feel his face shine upon you, pouring out his blessing, his favor upon you. May his radiant light restore you as you sleep. Take a deep breath through your nose, as your belly expands. Imagine God's power and strength, raising you above your circumstances, above the enemy, above the destruction and oppression of sin. Exhale slowly and release your fears and doubts. Know you are in his strong, capable hands. Know he will watch over you and protect you throughout the night, like a shepherd does for his sheep. Think of a time when you turned away from God and followed your own path. Confess any sin before the Lord, ask for his forgiveness and for his mercy. Turn to the Lord and ask him to guide you down his path of life and righteousness. Take a deep breath, exhale slowly, and release any feelings of guilt and shame. No, He will never turn away from you. He will redeem you and restore you when you surrender to him. Think of a time when God protected you even though you were on a rebellious path. Praise Him for his faithfulness. Thank Him for redeeming you and restoring you. Rejoice in his salvation, which secures your future in him. Thank Him for his blessing and favor. Think of someone whose life seems to be falling apart. Pray God will help them and deliver them from their difficulty. Pray God will restore their lives soon and will refresh their mind, body, and soul as they sleep. Cry out to the Lord. Cast your anxieties on him. Lay your requests at his feet. God will answer your prayers when the timing is right. Pray for God to ignite a passion and start a revival within the hearts of his followers. Pray we will turn to Him and firmly root ourselves in His word. Pray for God to restore the brokenness in your life. Pray for God's light to shine in the darkest places in your mind and heart. Pray for God to surround you with a hedge of protection tonight as you sleep, Pray you will rest safely and securely in His mighty hands. Breathe in and out slowly. Release any stress and tension that is still lingering from today. Put your trust in the Lord. Allow his word to guide you down a safe, secure path where you can rest peacefully throughout the night.
