Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's Sleep Psalm by pray dot Com. We will be meditating on Psalm fifty. In this life, it is so easy to be distracted, making it difficult to focus on God's word. Before we listen to Tonight's psalm, let's prepare our body and mind to receive His truth. Begin by getting in a comfortable position in a quiet space. Lay down flat on your back or sit straight up in a chair. Inhale and exhale slowly through your nose. Close your eyes, and imagine your body relaxing with each breath. When you breathe in, feel the oxygen fill your lungs with air. When you breathe out, feel your body relax, Feel the tension leave your muscles and joints. Relax your neck and shoulders. Breathe in.

And out.

Take another deep breath. Exhale slowly and clear your mind of any distractions or anxious thoughts. Breathe in God's goodness. Breathe out your stress and anxiety. Ask God to open your mind and heart to hear his voice of truth, Allow his tender whispers of love to fill your heart with joy, and to help you rest throughout the night. The Bible tells us God wants our praise, love, and faithfulness to night. Let us commit ourselves to the Lord and experience his hope and peace as we lay down to rest. Psalm fifty from the King James's version says, the Mighty God, even the Lord hath spoken and called the earth from the rising of the sun, unto the going down thereof out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. Our God shall come and shall not keep silence. A fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very temptuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above and to the earth, that he may judge his people, gather many saints together unto me, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice, and the heavens shall declare his righteousness. For God is judge himself. Sellah here o my people, and I will speak O Israel, and I will testify against thee I am God, even thy God. I will not reprove Thee, for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings to have been continually before me. I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy field. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon the hills. I know. All the fowls of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell THEE, for the world is mine and the fullness thereof. Will I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats? Offer unto God thanksgiving, and pay thy vows unto the most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver THEE. And thou shalt glorify me, but unto the wicked God saith. What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, seeing thou hatest instruction and castest my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulters. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother. Thou slanderest thine own mother son. These things thou hast done, and I kept silence. Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself. But I will reprove thee and set them in order before thine eyes. Thou consider this, ye, that for good God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me, and to him that ordereth his conversation. All right, I will shew the salvation of God. The Bible tells us we are saved by God's grace, not by our works. God is not satisfied when we go through the motions of religion. God wants us to obey him, but he is most satisfied when we are authentic in our walk with him. Let's lay down our lives at his feet and find rest in our commitment to the Lord. Take a deep breath. Exhale slowly, releasing any tension in your body. Close your eyes and picture yourself standing before the Lord. Feel the warmth of his love. Bask in his presence. Know his yoke is easy and his burden is light. Take a deep breath and surrender your life to God put everything in his hands. As you exhale, imagine letting go of the ways of the world and submitting to God's ways. Breathe in and out. Feel your shoulders relax as the burdens from this world are lifted. Open your eyes and rejoice in the Lord for who he is, His beauty and glory that fills your life with priceless treasures and beautiful blessings. Know a heart filled with gratitude pleases the Lord. Know he is pleased with you. To night, as you come before him and offer him sincere thanks, trust, and praise, Know you can rest safely and securely in his salvation tonight. Acknowledge any unconfessed sin before the Lord and ask for his forgiveness. Ask him to help you love him and obey him. Ask him to teach you what it means to follow him. Take a deep breath. Feel his mercy and love wash over you. With your next exhale. Let go of any guilt and shame you are experiencing. Know his righteousness vindicates you. Praise the Lord for his righteousness, for his mercy and justice. Praise him for his love and forgiveness. Thank him for the blessings he has given you and for the times He has helped you and delivered you. Think of some one who needs to experience God in the real, authentic way to night. Pray God will lead them to him and ask for him to open their eyes and hearts to his truth. Lay your requests before the Lord. Know that he will deliver you from your troubles when you honor Him with your life. Pray God will guide you onto his path of life and righteousness. Pray he will make your steps secure. Pray God will help you surrender all areas of your life to him and help you submit to all His ways. Pray you will find joy and peace in this sweet surrender. Pray God will protect you and your family. To night, Pray you will experience deep, RESTful sleep that will rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul. Breathe in and out slowly release any tension and stress that is still lingering from today. Invite God's presence as you sleep. As your body relaxes, allow God to refresh your soul and bring you peace to help you rest through the night.
