Hello, I'm Grace. For tonight's sleep Psalm by pray dot com. We will be meditating on Psalm forty one before we listen to God's word. Let's take some time to relax our body and calm our mind. First, get in a comfortable position that opens up your chest for optimal breathing. Lie on your back with your head elevated using a pillow, and your knees bent for joint support. Place a pillow under your knees. Take a deep breath, relax your neck and shoulders, rest your arms gently by your side. Exhale slowly and release any stress and tension in your muscles. Clear your mind and focus your thoughts on God. Remember who he is, your creator that fully knows you, your savior that fully loves you, and your healer that can fully restore you. Allow him to carry your burdens so that you may find rest for your mind, body, and soul. Take a deep breath and completely surrender to him. In this sweet surrender, allow yourself to relax, open your mind and heart to hear his voice. Ask for him to speak to you through his word. Know he is faithful to all who seek his wisdom, to all who seek his face. Ask for his peace as you lay down to rest tonight. The Bible assures us we will never have to face difficulties alone, so we can rest assured that God is always by our side, comforting us and protecting us through the long nights. Psalm forty one from the King James's version says, Blessed is he that considereth the poor. The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he shall be blessed upon the earth. And thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing. Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness, I said, Lord, be merciful unto me. Heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee Mine enemies speak evil of me. When shall he die and his name perish? And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity. His heart gathereth iniquity to itself. When he goeth abroad, he telleth it all that hate me, whisper together against me? Against me? Do they devise my hurt an evil disease? Say they cleaveth fast unto him? And now that he lieth, he shall rise up no more. YEA mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. But thou, o Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. By this, I know that thou favorest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face. Forever blessed be the Lord God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting, Amen and Amen. Pray for an eternal perspective of this world and life. Pray you will find hope in the eternity He has set in your heart. Pray what is important to God will be important to you.
