When you think of warmth, what comes to mind? Could you describe it through sound?

Our 2021-22 Signal Boost participants were tasked with creating a soundscape prompted by the theme of warmth; what they came up with ranged from musical creations to personal experiences and stories.

This episode features work from Daizy Maan, Miks Everitt, Maya Pask and Najma Sambul.

Mentorship was provided by Bethany Atkinson-Quinton, James Parkinson, Johanna Bell, Allison Chan and Karishma Luthria.

Since the end of the Korean War, over 200 000 South Korean babies and children have been adopted overseas under one of the largest and longest running intercountry adoption programs in the world. Many of these adoptees are asking questions about the systems and practices that have shaped the course of their lives. 

In this two part series, Signal Boost Participant Kelly Bartholomeusz interrogates the issue of Korean intercountry adoption.
