She was abused by her family, dealing with mental illness, and finding solace in the wrong places.  In an effort to shed her skin, she decided to transition from girl to boy.  This involved cross-sex hormones and a double mastectomy.  Now, she has a strong warning for parents and anyone else who may fall prey to what she calls a “Gender Cult.”  Laura Becker joins Michele.
